Hungry for Play and Sweat

The beautiful thing about playing is the focus and unpredictability of how things unfold, fail, or succeed. In this project, we bring together contact improvisation, contemporary dance, and live-looped saxophone, transforming public spaces into arenas for spontaneous play.

Two sharply dressed women in business attire invite you into their game. With a deck of cards and a playful challenge, they spark movement, risk, and connection. The audience is drawn in—whether by choosing a card, shaping the dance with their input, or simply getting caught in the energy of the unfolding action.
We want to ignite curiosity to the point where spectators can’t look away.
Will you join the game, or will you just watch?
Either way, the moment will pull you in.

Production in April/ May 2025 in Norway.
