Finding lightness into lifts
with Helene Düring Kjær

Let’s get nerdy with technique for lifts!

We’ll explore some of the following:
- landing gear: techniques for catching ourselves after off-balances or lifts.
- Lightness and Stability: efficient physicality for the base and the flyer.
- Center to center as a dialogue of placement.
- finding momentum together

I’ll share some pathways into lifts and we’ll have time to experiment together.

The workshop is for dancers with experience in contact improvisation or partnering.
If you are a beginner, it’s best to take part in some regular classes beforehand.

Date: Sunday 27. September
Time: 13-16
Place: Aikido Zen Bremen, Grundstrasse 10.

Payment: Sliding Scale: 30-50 eur. Pay what you can afford.
